My name is Ella, I’m a qualified birth and postnatal doula based in South East London. 🤍
Originally from Australia, I moved to London soon after finishing school and spent seven years working in hospitality across bartending, management, and sales roles. While I loved the people and energy of the industry, I ultimately knew that I was looking to feel a greater sense of purpose in my work. In search of finding this, I decided to press pause on London life and spend two years travelling, working seasonally, and following experiences that felt nourishing.
Those years brought some incredible moments: a transformational yoga teacher training in Bali, two seasons working at an Australian winery, and various adventures across sunny corners of Europe. I really enjoyed the freedom of living outside a structured work day and this gave me so much time to plan my next steps with intentionality.
The idea to become a doula presented itself very organically through a conversation with a family member - one of those moments that just clicked. After some research (and listening closely to my intuition), I trained with Nurturing Birth in London. It remains one of the best decisions I ever made. Outside of doula work, I’m passionate about yoga, reading and further study (particularly anything women’s hormonal health or functional-nutrition related) and I love to travel, cook, and spend time in nature.
As your doula, it is my priority to support you and your family in the way you need most. My approach is warm, intuitive, and led by you. I love holding space for people to feel seen and heard. Pregnancy, birth, and the weeks that follow bring immense, transformational change, and my aim is for you to feel prepared, empowered, and truly supported every step of the way.
If you’re curious about working together or would like to explore whether my services are aligned with your needs, please reach out - I’d love to connect.
